Fear the Walking Dead will begin its eighth and final season in May, and Tales of the Walking Dead premiered last year. While the enormously successful Walking Dead show on AMC finally ended last fall after 11 seasons, multiple spinoffs are running or in development. Kirkman himself also wrote a one-shot called 'Rick Grimes 2000' in Skybound X #5, although Kirkman called the futuristic story non-canon and more of a fun concept than a series revival. The Clementine graphic novel written and drawn by Tillie Walden follows the popular character from the Telltale video game series, and Skybound's young adult imprint Skybound Comet is releasing a second Clementine book later this year. While the original series may be over, the franchise is still releasing plenty of material.
